A couple was tied up while their children and nanny slept downstairs during a house robbery.
The incident took place at Rodeo Street, Presidents Ranch, last Thursday evening.
The victims were sleeping upstairs when they were awakened by two gunmen wearing balaclavas and gloves.

They were forced to lie face down on the bed and were tied up with wire.
The suspects then ransacked the house, taking a TV, a laptop, a laptop bag which contained R7 000, a wedding ring, a bracelet, a wristwatch, two cellphones and clothing before fleeing.
When the house fell silent, the victims untied themselves and alerted security.

The suspects gained entry to the house through an open window in an empty bedroom.
No injuries were reported and no shots were fired during the robbery.
