Q I have an eight-year-old daughter who is very tall for her age and solidly built, although not fat. She loves reading and drawing and is not naturally active or sporty. I am determined to get her out and about a bit more to burn off some more energy, but I am not sure how to approach her eating habits.
She eats a lot of everything — big portions and second or third helpings. She has, in general, a healthy diet and eats a variety of food. I am not sure if she is greedy or genuinely hungry. I do try to restrict her intake of sweet things and she knows what food is not good for her (although she will sneak a second helping
